Cherry Tree

The Sand Cherry Tree, named for its prevalence in dry, sandy soils and recognized for its frost hardiness, vigor, and low maintenance, grows into a drought-tolerant, tree-like shrub reaching 4-6 ft. in height and spread, producing stunning white 1/2 in blossoms from late winter to early spring. Native to Europe and western Asia, the deciduous Wild Cherry, which may reach heights of 80 feet or more, serves as the progenitor of most sweet cherry cultivars, boasting dense elongated clusters of small white flowers in spring.
