Introduction
Di Cicco Broccoli (Brassica oleracea “Di Cicco”) is a classic heirloom Italian variety prized for its tender, flavorful florets and edible stems. Compact and early-maturing, Di Cicco produces uniform, high-quality broccoli perfect for home gardens, raised beds, or container growing. Its vigorous growth and reliable harvest make it an excellent choice for both beginner and experienced gardeners seeking fresh, nutritious broccoli.

Seed Sowing Instructions
Start seeds indoors 6–8 weeks before the last frost or sow directly outdoors in early spring or late summer for a fall harvest. Sow seeds 1/4 inch deep in moist, well-drained soil. Maintain temperatures around 65–70°F. Germination usually occurs within 7–14 days. Transplant seedlings 18–24 inches apart once strong roots develop.

Plant Care Instructions
Di Cicco Broccoli prefers full sun and fertile, well-drained soil. Water consistently to keep soil evenly moist, especially during head formation. Fertilize lightly to encourage healthy growth and abundant florets. Harvest florets when tight and firm, cutting stems as needed to encourage side shoots. Ideal for home gardens, raised beds, and edible landscapes.
