You order one you get a total of three iona plants you can't go wrong.
We will pick you out three of our very best Iona air plant varieties for you. This listing is only for our ionas but could include different iona varieties or all the same depending on what is best. We will choose our best ionas at the time your order is placed. They maybe in bloom or green depending on what is available when your order is hand picked to get it ready to ship. This listing is only for iona varieties randomly chosen. They start out green as juveniles and turn bright red/pink upon maturity with bright filtered sunlight and bloom purple. They are small little plants but offer big surprises upon maturity and clump over years if you don't separate the pups. Not sure about the care of Iona's and their color change. Their blooms and color change is only temporary and only happens once in their entire life so we try to send them before so you can enjoy the color change and bloom. We try to send them more green but they may come in color with blooms depending on stock and availability. The blooms only last about a week which is why we try to send them more green. A bright indirect sunlight will turn them more red as they grow and mature. The nature of air plants is to only color change and bloom upon maturity and it only temporary but around their bloom cycle it means they are a mature plant and ready to have pups. The mother plant changes color upon maturity showing she is ready to give off pups. The pups will grow and bloom as they mature. Color change lasts a couple weeks. Bloom lasts about a week. Give them bright indirect sunlight this will help them grow a little faster and bloom faster. Smaller plant ranges 1-3" give or take at largest. Stays small.

Ionas are a fun little plant. Because of their small size they don't take long to reach maturity with the right light and care. Ionas only bloom once upon maturity and with a bright indirect light they turn a bright pink/red around their bloom cycle. They are a plant that keeps giving. Being a clumping variety over years if you do not separate the baby from the mother plant they will form a clump that then all turns red together and blooms purple as more babies sprout and form the clump.
